Presentations, photos and evaluation results from the Ploneability Higher Ed event last week are now available at www.enfoldsystems.com/ploneability.
We hope you find some useful information, even if you didn't attend. All of the presentations are in PDF format and include short descriptions to help you find material that may interest you. Our presenters discussed a range of topics especially relevant to content management with Plone in college and university settings.
Many thanks to our presenters for their time and energy, and special thanks to our hosts, Josten Ma and his colleagues at the Texas Learning and Computation Center, who have repeatedly shown their commitment to the open-source community.
We look forward to working with you in the future!
A problem with the Eventbrite system caused an error in the link to the UH wireless page in the news item posted here Nov. 1. The correct address is: http://www.uh.edu/infotech/php/template.php?network_id=36

The following e-mail went out today to registered attendees:
From: Chris Williamson
Subject: Ploneability Higher Ed reminder
Dear Ploneability Higher Ed attendees:
I just sent a round of invitations to local university Web staff, and in the open-source community spirit, I'm asking for your help. If you know anyone interested in Web content management solutions, now is the time to forward this e-mail and let them know about Ploneability Higher Ed, one week from today at the University of Houston main campus:
Our host, the Texas Learning and Computation Center, is graciously providing a continental breakfast and boxed lunch free of charge to registered attendees. Please let me know if your plans change so Josten can order food for the proper number of people.
If you'd like to participate in the Plone in Education developers meeting on Friday, Nov. 9, please review the agenda and let Christian Vinten-Johansen know you're interested.
Wireless connectivity will be available at the conference venue. Tables will be set up "classroom style" for ease of laptop use. If you will want Internet access, you may want to review this page and install the necessary security software in advance.
If you'd like to connect with people with similar interests, please consider leading an informal, half-hour "Birds of a Feather" session during the time specified on the agenda. A sign-up sheet will be available the morning of the event.
Looking forward to seeing you Thursday!
Regards,
Chris Williamson
